BLUETOOTH & ITS TYPES

This technology started from 20^th century by the Dnish King Harald from Norway and Denmark. Ericsson was the 1^st company who wanted to work on it with great interest. Ericsson started its work from 1994 on wireless technology. Its main purpose was to connect the devices with each other for data communicate. Later on other four companies also wanted to work on it (IBM, NOKIA, INTEL, TOSHIBA) . After a passage of time four other companies also came in this way to getting this goal (LUCENT, MICROSFT, MOTOROLLA, 3COM) for their companies name and fame. After a great struggle of time all they achieve their goal of the companies which was wireless technology (BLUETOOTH).

BLUETOOTH Tech…  A radio standard and a communication protocol to assign for the data communicate between different devices. Bluetooth Signal can be transferred from through the wall and box .Bluetooth devices are also peripheral devises like mouse, keyboard and printer.

Classification of the Bluetooth devices are given below.

Two types of the Bluetooth are:

   1.       point to point                     2.piconet (point to multiple devices)

In point to point one is master (sender) and other is slave device(receiver) . In piconet  maximum 7  slaves and 1 is master device.(255 devices participate at one time but only 7 will be communicate). Each piconet has different channel for communication. The capacity of the Bluetooth is 1Mbps.the network is used for this technology is (PANs) personal area network. Through Bluetooth the data can be shared from a short distance (1 to 100 meter). Assential requirement for communicate devices is discovery of device , name of device, password of device.  Device can be hide while showing the icon of Bluetooth.
